Who doesn’t know about Bali these days? Some people may already called it their home, including me. I’ve never had a thought that I could live here, lucky enough 3 years in the past before here I am coming back again.

I was born and grew up in Jakarta mostly. But then I moved to Jatinangor - Bandung for study, 5 years, where I think everything started. Everything started with a confusion that led me to relocate myself to Bali afterward. That’s a nice thing about life when a confusion you have, will show you the reason later. That's what happened on me.

Bali, why Bali?

Why not?

They called it “The Island of The Gods”.

As crowd as it may have, scooters noises and busy traffic during rush hours, but it still gives a chill vibe once you arrive at the beach, listening the wave breaks instead. A place where you still can reconnected with the nature after much stress in life with work, society, roads, even personal matter.

I love nature so much. I believe each time you spend so many times in the city and urban life, you need to go back to nature once a while. It’s either just to refresh your mind or just reconnect with mother-nature, a place where you live for the whole time.

And Bali… has it all… I think…

The thing I love to do is just wake up in the morning, riding my scooter to the beach, and just be there. Just sit there, feeling the sand on my skin, and immersed on my thoughts about life and myself. Having alone time help me a lot to know and aware of myself better. Or riding further away, jumping and swimming on hidden waterfall, brings back my joy and playful-child side of me. Remind me how brave I am or I should be. Remind me how takes everything easy on life and don’t be too hard on yourself. Or do along hike then climb a mountain to realize the beautiful view on the top after the handwork you’ve been through, to appreciate all the effort you give. It ain’t easy but all worth it.

When I got lost, I found a little piece of me inside the little adventure lost in nature. That’s the beauty of it. And Bali has been always, always give me that kind of beauty.

So, here I am back here again, create a new adventure of mine in a place where I will always come back to as my home.

Handara Golf & Resort Gate, Bali
